This past weekend saw fast times and fast teams from all around the state of Tennessee, starting down at Chickasaw Trails in Oakville, Alabama.

Both Brentwood teams (High school and Academy) brought full squads down to a fast course, and the results didn't disappoint.

Brentwood High was paced by Brodey Hasty and Belmont commit Taylor Vroon, who ended up in a tie for first place (15:30.69). But the Bruins weren't done. Junior Scott Thompson would place third (15:34.68) and senior, future Belmont Bruin, Jackson Vroon finished fourth (15:34.88) helping Brentwood to a 31 point score and a big win.

Brentwood Academy sophomore Carter Cheeseman rounded out the top five (15:42.02). Cheeseman was closely followed by teammate Davis Holliday (15:48.97) who finished sixth. The Eagles finished in second place behind the cross town rival Bruins, tallying 105 points.
