Though Cocke County's Jenna Pittman may rank in the 40s in the overall list for last week, she ranks 9th for runners that will be competing in Class AA/A. As a junior, Pittman placed 50th but has single digits in mind this year. It's a lofty goal but if soccer season ends ahead of the state meet and she can get some extra rest, a large peak does not put that beyond the realm of possibility.
